I’m Ashley Medici, a Long Island-based photographer and visual artist. I am the Photo Editor for Dan’s Papers in the Hamptons and Palm Beach, where I work in editorial photography, visual storytelling, and capturing moments as they unfold.
My work is driven by instinct, atmosphere, and emotion rather than perfection. I’m drawn to movement, deep contrast, and the feeling behind an image. Through photography, I look for moments that feel honest, unexpected, and open to interpretation.
My ocean photography explores isolation, mood, and the connection between nature and emotion. I specialize in large-scale panoramas and custom-sized triptychs, designed to transform physical spaces through immersive imagery.
With a background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, I approach photography through both an artistic and visual design perspective.
Currently exhibited at Aloof Icon in Southampton and Fishers in Sag Harbor. Past gallery openings include Montauk and One Art Space in Tribeca, with future exhibitions at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC and Baker House in East Hampton.
